  • Paid ads (top position)
    Paid ads are the top 4 positions in the Google Search Results Page (SERP). Paid Ads are from Google AdWords. They are around the size of a persons hand on screen and reflect a large portion of the pages real estate. A user generally clicks on 2-3 ads.
  • Google My Business listings
    These listings stand out on the SERP, especially if they have a 4-5 star rating. They are around the size of a person’s hand on screen and reflect a large portion of the pages real estate. Google My Business listings are free.
  • Organic search
    Organic search results top position is essentially the 8th position on the page. It takes the user longer to scroll to here. A results with a 5 star rating will stand out.
  • Paid ads position (bottom position)
    These paid ads are from Google AdWords. They are on the bottom of the SERP and take up a smaller portion of the pages real estate. A user may not reach these ads if they don’t scroll to the end.
